

Cecil Cox Scott, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, born on February 25, 1929, fought the good fight, finished his race, and made it to his eternal home with Jesus, on August 22, 2021 where he was reunited with his beloved wife, Christine Scott.
He is survived by son Gary Scott (Brenda); daughter Debbie Ketzer; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Cecil, best known to all as “Papa,” was a man of faith and integrity who most loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sharing the many miracles he experienced in his life. His life was a testimony of God’s faithfulness and goodness to all who knew him. He was a gentle and humble personality, but a spiritual giant and pillar of faith.
A graveside service, to celebrate his life, will be held at Lowe Cemetery on Thursday, August 26 at 10am with Greg Ketzer officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Kight, Johnathan Johnston, Chris Meseke, Dustin Forsythe, Jimmy Forsythe and Daniel Forsythe.
Honorary Pallbearers are Buddy Black, Greg Grant, and his many breakfast and coffee buddies.
