

Christine Marie Bowers Bosch of Hot Springs, AR died at the age of 80 on February 4, 2022 in Denton Texas, after a brief illness. Born November 11, 1941 in Ravenna, Ohio she lived for most of her young life in Toledo, OH, being raised by her aunt and grandmother. After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Dennis Bosch, the couple lived and raised a family in the midwest before settling in Texas to raise their four children. After retiring from Hunt Oil Company she and Dennis moved to Hot Springs AR to spend the golden years enjoying life. Chris was an avid volunteer for many organizations including the Mid-America Science Museum and within her church, St. Mary’s of the Springs. All of her life Chris had an unmatched love for all animals, especially horses, peanut butter and Blue Bell ice cream.
Chris is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis, daughters Annette (Richard), Susan (Luis), Deborah (Mark), son James (Ann Cherie), grandchildren Alyssa (Christopher), Shane, Blake, David, Ann Claire, Charles, Alex (Adriana), John, Jose, Sam, Karina, Daniel, great-grandson Damien, brothers Joseph (Leslie), Gerald, Michael (Karan), sisters Margaret (Robert), Michelle (Matthew), brother-in-laws Michael, Timothy (Debby) and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Preceded in death by her mother Alice Bowsher, aunt Estelle Long, grandmother Sophie Gade, brother Thomas Patten, and sister Martha Patten, sister-in-laws Gladys, Judith and brother-in-law Frank.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 10, 6:00pm at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR with funeral services on Friday, February 11, 2:30pm at St. Mary’s of the Springs, 100 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR.
