LCPL Cody Forbush

He leaves in mourning his dad Bruce James, and mom Wendy Loyd (Rodney); brothers, Jesse Anthony James (Emily) of Warren, AR, Brian Fields, and Justin Bryant of Hot Springs AR; precious nieces Aycelynn and Avenlee; his beloved girlfriend Jade Hays; grandparents, Willene McBride, Robin Bell, and Rowena James; great grandparents Mary Lou Douglas, Laverne and Leon Bell; and also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was proceeded in death by grandparents; Pop Joe James, Grandpa Kelly McBride, and Papaw Chester Douglas.

He attended school at Warren Public School as a Lumber Jack and later moved to Lakeside School where he graduated as a Ram in 2011. He became a proud Marine in 2012. He was attached to Marine Unit, Det 1 Motor Transport Company Combat Logistics Battalion 453 Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group in Texarkana AR. He began working at Garrett Excavation where he was a Dirt Hand/Heavy Equipment Operator in 2014 till present. Everything Cody did in his life he did with pride and dedication. His work ethic was strong and he always gave 110%. He was considered a brother by many and loved by all that ever knew him. Cody lit up many people’s lives with his smile and laugh. Day in and day out, Cody made his first concern those he loved both family and friends. He never met a stranger and never left one person without a lasting memory. He was loved by many and will live on in our hearts until we all meet again.

Pallbearers will be his Marine Brothers from his unit and Honorary Pallbearers will be his closest friends whom he considered brothers.
