Connie Renette Lovett (66) of Hot Springs, Arkansas carried her laughter to the Angels on Tuesday September 23, 2025. She arrived in the world with joy and love on August 26, 1959. She never stopped finding joy in the little things and was the spark that lit the room on fire. She was the kind of person who would dance with a stranger in the street and people were drawn to her warmth and boldness.
She loved scrapbook retreats with her friends, and her scrapbooks were more than just pages in a book, but ordinary moments she turned into keepsakes. She loved moonlight cruises on the lake and spending her days organizing her flea market booth with her friends. She enjoyed traveling the U.S. with her Husband Bubba and their beloved dog Charlee. For 30+ years she ran the show at Southwestern Bell, leading with sass, smarts and best of all- humor.
For 36 years she and Bubba shared a love that was equal parts laughter, adventure, and mischief. Together they danced through life- from New Orleans jazz streets to Key West sunsets. Some of their favorite moments were spent with their toes in the sand on some beach, somewhere.
Her proudest title in life was Mom to her loving daughter Makenzie and Mimi to her adored grandchildren. She was fiercely devoted, endlessly loving, and always fun. The kind of Mimi who would drop everything to show up, cheer the loudest, and love the hardest. She poured her love into every laugh, every kiss, and every hug.
She is survived by her parents Carolyn Howard (Claude Howard) and William Whitlock (Janet Whitlock), her husband Bubba Lovett, Daughter Makenzie Reed (Derek Reed) Grandchildren Mason, Gavin, Brooks, and Emily, Son Clay Lovett (Lisa Lovett), her sisters Lisa Rhine (Eddie Rhine) Jennifer Wright (Sam Wright) and Sara Edwards (Elliott Edwards) and a lively crew of nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will forever remember her hugs, laughter, and sparkle.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Maxine Phillips Campbell and Wade Simpson, and Art and Lola Whitlock
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs for their compassionate care and support during her stays in the hospital.
