Derald "Husky" Powell

Derald was of the Baptist faith and loved CB radios, Ford trucks and was a skilled woodworker. His greatest love was his family, the people he would do anything for.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Powell; his children, Patricia Hinze (Carter), Derald Powell and step son, Donald Smith; sisters, Jeannie Green and Lisa Parker; sister in law, Anna Riley; grandchildren, Dylan Love and Malachi Hubbard; 8 nephews, 4 nieces and several beloved aunts, uncles and extended family. Meeting Derald in Heaven are his daughter, April Dawn Powell; brother in law, Johnny Green and uncle, Johnny Baker.

In honor of Derald’s memory friends attending the funeral are welcome to wear camo shirts and jeans.

Pallbearers are Frank Clark, Allan Freeman, Jack Smith, Larry Johnson, Larry Davis and Rob De Los Santos.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Cook, Derald K. Powell, Donald Smith, Henry Cook, Floyd McCarty, the Employees of Orr Cadillac, the staff of St. Vincent’s and Arkansas Hospice.
