Eric “Bruin” Snider, age 27 of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to heaven on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Born February 10, 1994, in Hot Springs, Arkansas the son of Robert Eric Snider and Amy Lynn Roberts Snider. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Bruin graduated from the Hot Springs High School class of 2012. Bruin graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Amy Snider, and grandparents Paul and Nancy Roberts and Wanda Raper. He was a loving brother to Robert Paul “Bo” Snider (Mattie), Elizabeth Suzanne Snider Vaughn (Walker), Rachel Lynn Snider, and Ryan Carpenter (Lenzie). He was Uncle Bruin to Brody and Bree Carpenter, and William and Westin Vaughn. As well as a large extended family and many dear friends. Bruin lived in Mayflower with the love of his life, Halli Tyra.
He was preceded in death by. His grandfathers: Wayne Herbert Snider and Daniel Raper.
Bruin was the kindest soul and would help anyone and everyone regardless of his own accord. If anyone needed a listening ear, he was ready and available to give inspiration, cheer, and encouragement.
Bruin had the biggest heart and love for life. He loved big and always wanted his family, friends, and anyone else who crossed his path to know he loved them. Bruin’s hugs were the best bear hugs around and his smile and laughter were contagious. Bruin never met a stranger. His big smile, joyful laugh, and beautiful eyes were an expression of his love of life and God’s presence in him. Bruin put his trust in his Savior Jesus Christ and would tell anyone who would listen what Jesus did for him in his life. His faith was amplified during his time at John 3:16 ministries.
Bruin grew up following around his big brother Bo, if you knew them both you know their bond and friendship was something very special. He loved going hunting with his dad, brothers, and grandpas and playing baseball. He was a protective big brother to Elizabeth and Rachel and was always looking out for them. Bruin had a special bond with His Aunts: Stacey Steven-Assheuer, Allison Roberts, Melissa, and Tammy Snider, and cousins: Kayla, Cole, Colton, Oliver, Samuel, Andrew, and Julian. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, at Gross Funeral Home (120 Wrights Lane, Hot Springs).
A celebration of Bruin’s life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, at First Lutheran Family Life Center, (105 Village Road in Hot Springs, Arkansas), with Pastor Jonathan Beyer officiating.
Pallbearers include Bo Snider, Ryan Carpenter, Walker Vaughn, Zac Hankins, Kyle Rosburg, and Cole Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers include cousins: Oliver, Samuel, Andrew, and Julian Steven- Assheuer and lifelong friends: Andrew and Sebastian Love, Blake Tipton, Johnny Knapp, Zach Knapp, Eric Longinotti, Adam Burroughs, Brandt Cooper, and Josh Stadler, and the men of John 3:16 Ministries.
