Frances E. Anderson Boze, 86, of Hot Springs passed away June 30, 2020. The only child of James and Lula Kirkland, she came into the world as it was recovering from the Great Depression. Frances learned early the importance of hard work, the beauty of gratitude, and the necessity of love.
As a child in a military family, Frances lived in several different states. While living in California as a high school senior, Frances became the first homecoming queen of Lompoc Senior High School and met her future husband, Jack Anderson. It was not long after that her parents moved the family back to Arkansas. Frances graduated from Hot Springs High School, but soon found her way back to Jack.
Frances and Jack were married for over forty years, raised two incredible children, had successful careers, and eventually retired to Hot Springs in 1989. Frances had spent more than 27 years with General Dynamics before retirement and was a member of the National Management Association serving at one time as a National Director. She loved to travel, play bridge, try her luck in casinos, entertain friends, and belonged to many social and charitable groups.
Frances lost Jack in 1991, but found love again with Lynn Boze. She and Lynn were married in 1998 and remain married until Lynn’s passing in 2004.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents James and Lula Kirkland as well as husbands, Jack Anderson and Lynn Boze.
Those who will miss her spunk and sparkle most are her children Ginger (Danny) Molter of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Gary (Dianne) Anderson of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren Brady (Amanda) Molter, Katie (Sean) Lively, Kristy Anderson, August (Megan) Anderson, and Joey (Brittney) Anderson; her great-grandchildren Riley Molter, Peyton Lively, Tyler White, Parker Malin, and Nolan Anderson; and her 15 year old kitty, Pepper.
Frances became a member of the Women’s Welcome Club in 1989 and was honored to serve as President in 1993. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to their scholarship fund at Women’s Welcome Club Scholarship Fund, c/o Ginger Molter, 165 Westwinds Dr., Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913 or to Arkansas Hospice, 508 Ouachita Ave Suite A, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901.
