Jackye W Johnson

She was born on October 2, 1934 in rural Saline County, Arkansas, to the late James H. Hicks and A. Ilene Huey Hicks.

Preceding her in death were husband, Dan J. Willis and their son, Gerald Allen Willis, second husband Voris E. Johnson, and sister, Shirley Hicks Shoppach.

Jackye is survived by one sister, Linda Hicks Irving of Gardnerville, NV, one niece, Michelle Shoppach of Benton, nephews Mike Shoppach (Daphne) of Benton, Craig Irving (Denise) of Petaluma, CA; and Corey Irving of Gardnerville, NV, family friend, Ann Webb of Benton, and great nephews, great nieces and cousins.

Jackye attended Lake Hamilton Baptist Church while she lived in Hot Springs and later attended the services at The Manor in Bryant led by Tent Builders Church.

Graveside services will be held on April 17 at 11:00am at Rest Hills in North Little Rock.

The family would like to thank Dr. Katherine Knight, the staff and residents of The Manor, and Comfort Care Hospice during her stay at The Manor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tent Builders Church at 1214 Liberty, Benton, AR 72015.
