When Jadah was two years old during a visit to a family friend, she approached her mother to tell her a gentleman, Elic Plummer, who was also there visiting, was her dad. Which is how Jadah picked out the man who would become her dad. Shortly after Jadah’s pronouncement, Emma and Elic began dating and have been married for over tweny years. Elic was her dad from that moment on- loving, raising, and walking her down the aisle just weeks ago.
Jadah married her childhood sweetheart, Tyler Bechel, on March 3, 2019. She had loved him since elementary school. Their flirtatious friendship began blossoming in eighth grade and by the first day of high school, Tyler and Jadah were inseparable. They graduated together from Hot Springs High School in 2014.
She had been working toward her elementary education degree with plans to transfer from National Park to Henderson in the fall. She dreamed of working with young children and was especially interested in helping those with special needs.
A born caregiver, Jadah always had a smile or laugh to share and lifted in spirit so many of those around her. Her mother and husband feel she made them strive to be better people and were, in fact, better people just being near her.
Jadah is survived by her husband, Tyler Bechel, who she was so lucky to have found so young. He is forever grateful for the time they had, but will mourn the lifetime of memories they had planned on making together. Her mother and father, Emma and Elic Plummer, have the heartache of parents who have lost a child who was such a bright light in their family. She will also be missed by her siblings, Aryanna and Seth Plummer; her nephew, Prince Phoenix Briggs; her niece, Paighton Briggs; her Aunt Bambi and Uncle Jerome; and a multitude of other well-loved cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends.
Jadah was welcomed home by her grandparents, Joe and Barbara Quillin; and great grandparents, John and Emma Rushing and Joel and Louise Quilllin.
The family asks that attire to Jadah’s visitation on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm and Celebration of Life on Thursday at 2pm be as bright as Jadah’s personality. Both will be held in the chapel at Gross Funeral Home.
