Ron was born to the late Early and Ruby Robinson Buckley in Catlettsburg, Kentucky.
After high school, Ron joined the Navy. His travels and sweet tooth led him to a busy donut shop and his sweetheart, Helen. They shared desserts for more than 55 years of marriage.
Ron supported his children Lisa Buckley-Fezard and Dina Buckley working in the tire business. His grandchildren Brandon “Pap’s Buddy” Buckley, Britney Fezard, Bradley Fezard, and Tyler Buckley will miss their “Pap,” but will remember him every time they bowl a strike. His friend and “best” son-in-law, Frederic Fezard, will miss his gentle humor.
Ron also leaves behind his much loved pups, Mimi and Maya.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials in Ron’s name be made to the Garland County Humane Society, 1249 Ault Loop, Lonsdale, Arkansas 72087.
