Jasmine was born and grew up in Sparkman, the oldest of seven children. She graduated in 1954 from Arkadelphia High School. She met and married her sweetheart, Bob Atha after graduation from high school. They eventually settled in Sheridan to raise their family. She worked as a banker and an Executive Admin Assistant and enjoyed square dance clubs during her time in Sheridan. “Bob and Jackie“retired to Bismarck; where they enjoyed gardening, making friends, attending church, and spoiling their grandkids. They eventually settled in Hot Springs where she enjoyed her passion for growing flowers and visiting with friends. She was a member of First Christian Church.
She had a gift for providing exceptional extended care to her father, mother-in-law, husband, and son. A special thank you to the staff at Harmony Family Medicine, DaVita Dialysis, and CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs for the wonderful relationships she made both during her own illnesses as well as through the care she provided to others.
