

Jeanne Moseley McFarlin passed away peacefully at the age of 98 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, & friend whose warmth, grace, & kindness touched everyone who knew her.
Known lovingly by family and friends as “Jeanne,” she married the love of her life, Bob McFarlin, on September 24, 1948. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, friendship, and treasured memories shared on Lake Hamilton.
Jeanne enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and across the United States. She especially loved reading, golfing, water skiing, and spending time on the lake aboard their barge, “5:00 was cocktails on the lake”. She was also known for hosting joyful Fourth of July parties that brought family and friends together year after year.
Jeanne appreciated life’s simple pleasures, including Coca-Cola in a can and Russell Stover chocolates, especially chocolate Santas and Easter bunnies.
She graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1945, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the Delta Alpha Delta sorority. Jeanne devoted her life to her family as a housewife, creating a loving home filled with hospitality, laughter, and care.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Jeanne was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Hot Springs.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob McFarlin; her twin sister, Deanne Brockett; and her sisters, Mary Minta Sigman and Dorothy Ashmun.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lynne O’Malley and her husband Patrick and Jeanne Morgan; her grandchildren, Kathleen Tobin, Alexandra Morgan, Lane Morgan, and Adelle Schnick; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Tobin, Lizzie Tobin, and Wyatt Kanpetch, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Pallbearers include Bruce Sigman, Buddy Sigman, Phillip Davis Michael McFarlin, Pat Schnick and Beau Durbin.

Jeanne will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love of family gatherings, her welcoming home, and the many happy memories made with those she loved most. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on in all who knew her.
