Ms. Joan Donaldson

Ms. Donaldson led a long, enduring, and lively life that was full of adventure and friendships; having served in the United States Navy, and retiring from the federal government where she worked with the Coast Guard, at times in the Pentagon. She cherished her church family at First Baptist Church, and especially enjoyed her Sunday school class “Bible Learners”.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Cloyd Marshall.

She is survived by her cousin, Eileen Lacy and several other cousins.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday at Gross Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday September 5th, 2014 with Rev. John McCallum officiating at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Gross Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are the residents and staff of Crown Trace Villa, Dr. Steve Bodemann and staff, her friends of First Baptist Church (Bible Learners Sunday school), and Arkansas Hospice.
