

Joanne Lillian Marinello, age 88, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on October 16, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1937, in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Genevieve Antosz. Joanne was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and community member whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Joanne faced life's challenges with strength and resilience. Following the passing of her first husband, John Holley II, she became a dedicated single mother to three children, working tirelessly to provide for her family. Her unwavering dedication extended into her career as an Operations Administrator at Combined Insurance Company, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 1994.
After retiring, Joanne moved to Hot Springs, where she embraced her community with open arms. She was a cherished ambassador at the Country Club Village, affectionately known as the "Mayor" by many. Her leadership, kindness, and vibrant spirit earned her the honor of being named Resident of the Year multiple times.
A woman of faith, Joanne was devoted to her Catholic beliefs and lived her life with love, compassion, and generosity. She was loved by all who knew her, a testament to her big heart and genuine nature.
In her free time, Joanne enjoyed playing bingo, visiting the casino, exploring museums, engaging in arts and crafts, and watching classic Western movies. Her passions brought joy not only to herself but also to those around her.
Joanne Lillian Marinello leaves behind a legacy of love, community, and grace. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband John Holley II, second husband Frank Marinello, son John Holley III, two brothers, and two sisters.
Joanne is survived by her daughter Janice Burdette, son Billy Holley, loving daughter in law Heidi C. Holley, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many many friends.

A funeral service will be held at Gross Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 10:00am, where her family and loved ones will gather to honor her life and legacy.
