The pillar of our family, Josette Odile Marcelle Gradeve-Dauzat, passed away peacefully at home on September 11th, 2023, at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 28th, 1931, in Bergerac, France.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marc Hilaire Maurice Gradeve; her mother, Renée Hélène Berthe (Girardeau) Gradeve; her stepmother Lucette Fourcade Gradeve; and her grandson Joshua Luc Dauzat.
She is survived by her children Linda Sue and Steve Luc Dauzat; her grandchildren Tazamisha Josette, Shannon Jean, Shane Michael, and Spencer Luc Dauzat; and her great grandchildren Damien, Sage, Maddox, Bentley, and Sawyer Dauzat.
We would like to give special thanks to her health care providers from Arkansas Hospice Care, the Genesis Cancer Center, the CHI St. Vincent Hospital, Clinic, and Heart Clinic, Dr. Manjusha Kota, Dr. James L. Gardener, and Dr. Rajesh Shroff. Also, a special thanks to her longtime hair stylist, Mrs. Becky Fischer.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Gross Funeral Home on September 22nd at 2pm.
