Juanita "Peaches" Nichols, 80, of Hot Springs, passed away Monday, October 15. Born in early November 1937 to the late Nicholas and Mazell Rosser of Little Rock, Juanita was known to everyone as “Peaches,” a nickname given to her by her father.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Donella Talley, and brother Robert Hataway.
Peaches was an avid reader and a gifted writer. She retired from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette after many years as the bridal editor. After retiring, she was the trusted house and pet sitter for a small group of much loved friends.
A long time member of the Christian Science Church, as well as, a nature and photography enthusiast, Peaches was awed by creation.
She will be missed by many, but especially by her son Michael, and nieces Marsha Ballard and Donna Rose.
Thank you to everyone who visited Peaches during her stay at Quapaw Care and Rehab center.
