Julie was like my second mom growing up. She would call me to come kill daddy long legs, she was terrified of any bugs lol. She was always there for me through everything. Julie and Steve would let me stay with them in Bakersfield whenever i needed. You'll forever be missed and loved.. My heart goes out to her family Peter J and her husband Steve. You guys are forever in our prayers.

It can not be understated the amount of gratitude I have for Steve in giving my mother her best life. Their partnership was able to restore her passion for adventure and fulfill her faith in love. Knowing that she had such a patient, genuine beacon of trust not only helps brings me peace, it also reaffirms that she was truly at her happiest.
While I know that Julie is no longer in pain, my heart still breaks for those left behind. Her rare gift of true love is something to be celebrated, and holds a bar for us all to strive towards each and every day.

Wow where do you start, so sudden so soon. Julie was my cousin and we were both born in the same year. When she came to visit it was like I had known her for years so warm and friendly to us as family (unfortunately not a treat that all families share). By mid life I had become to know her better and I found an ability to be able to tell her everything as a true best friend. Julie I love you and you will truly be missed... I will see you when I get home.

PS tell God I love Him too

Julie was the light at the end of tunnel ,her devotion to her husband was untouched, many wish for such a perfect union ,God graced her with such a beauty...she lit up a room when she walked in and never did she complain, another gift ..she was more than a friend she became my family,I'm proud to have been her friend ...and blessed to have had her in my life, her world was her husband he never gave her more than she wanted in life he filled everydream she had ,two peas in a pod,now in the solitude of memory ,I'm sure he's refecting on all they had and wanting to remember it all, julie would always say to me how perfect her world was with Steve and how I know her to be she'd look upon us and say hey! I made it ..as long as you have my memory you'll never be alone ,she said. To me once she never feared death she feared that she would be alone in her last moments ,but she was with the man of her dreams,I don't know what to say but God took her home and granted her grace in her final journey, one she is not alone in ,her dad I'm sure was waiting to give her a hug and tell her it's ok .I'll never forget my friend who showed me courage and showed me how to live my life right.she will be in my thoughts and always I n my prayers as is Steve ,May God grant her everlasting life and show her by his Graces and mercy...bye julie I'll see you on the other side, look for me !!!my best friend in the whole wideworld.thats how we'd say goodbye ,best friend in the whole wide world, thank you for having me for a friend and becoming family.i never knew someone as sweet and accepting as you .your smile can light up the world and you did just that.......forever in my thoughts ...Suesan

Julie was not only my awesome wife, she was also my soulmate, my best friend, my partner in adventures. We always did everything together. There are so many great things that I can say about her, but it is hard to put into words, without breaking down. She is, and always will be, greatly missed. I knew she was the one for me, when our first date lasted over 8 hours, just walking, talking, holding hands and drinking coffee. That first kiss, was like magic. It was like, the rest of the world did not even exist. She asked for more of that (the kissing). There will never be another one like her, or even someone that comes close. The world seems like a darker place now, without her smile to brighten the day. Putting our love into words, is a very hard thing to do. Good bye to my greatest love for now, we will be together again in Heaven one day. You will never be forgotten, ever. I love you always and forever.
