Julius Edward Spivey

He was born to the late Lillie (Williams) Blake in Black Oak, AR on June 11th, 1948. He was preceded in death by his three sisters: Teresa Parmer, Mona (Blake) Hobbs, and Barbra Blake.

He was an accomplished brick mason and worked for Riser Ford in his later years. He also enjoyed selling strawberries, watermelons, and other fruits at the fruit stand. He is survived by his children: Jonathan Spivey, Becky White (Brandon), Sarah Spivey, Heather Minick, and Nick Spivey (Mychelle). He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a special puppy, Sassy, and special kitty, Emmy. His siblings: Floyd Blake, Jr., Robert Blake, Linda West, Lloyd and Boyd Blake, Martha Elms, Ann Henry, and Tim Blake. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank Patricia with WRAA and Arkansas Hospice for the great care they provided.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Sunday, July 6, 2025 starting at 2:00pm.
