Kaleb William Smith, born February 18, 2019 and went to be with the lord on February 10th 2020.

Kaleb is the older identical twin brother of Kevin Benjamin Smith, Kaleb and Ben were diagnosed with TTTS twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome a rare but serious condition that can occur in pregnancies when identical twins like Kaleb and Ben share the same placenta. Kaleb was the donor brother to Ben.

In his short time here on earth, he had many first.... he was born at St.Michaels hospital in Texarkana Texas, where he stayed in the NICU. He took his first helicopter ride to Medical City Children’s hospital in Dallas, for another stay in the NICU. Kaleb then had his first airplane ride from Dallas to Little Rock where he stayed at Children’s hospital in Little Rock AR, this allowed him more time with mom and dad, and a reunion with Ben.

Out of everything Kaleb did not get in this life, he did get the greatest gift of all and that is LOVE. He got the love of his mom, his dad, his Brother, his family and so many more who cared for him. He in return gave us all the gift of love.

Though we will miss him dearly and want more than anything for him to be here with us, we know his life was for a purpose. He fought long enough to ensure that his brother Ben would live. He stayed strong enough to know that his mom, dad, Ben and the rest of the family would be ok. He taught us all how to fight, to be strong and to love. For that we are truly great full. Our comfort in this time of sadness is knowing that he was greeted in heaven by Papa bill and all his relatives who took him to meet Jesus. Jesus said to him well done my good and faithful servant, you did what you were called to do.
