Karen Goodman, 66, of Hot Springs died at her residence on Monday, July 3, 2017. She was born June 4, 1951 in Malvern to the late Lee and Christine Brent Short. Karen is pre-deceased by her daughter Tracy Goodman Brown, and her sister Brenda Joyner. Survivors include her close friend, Ron Czarnecki of Hot Springs; step-daughter Kim Hicks; step-grandchildren Lajoca Hicks, Hanna Hicks, and Payton Hicks all of Hot Springs; step-grandchild Sharnae Thomas of Siloam Springs; niece Brandi Duke of Malvern; and friend Pat Greene of Hot Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary of the Springs Church.
