Katrina Brown

Katrina M. Brown, 73, of Hot Springs, passed away at home Friday, April 7, 2017. Katrina was born October 4, 1943 in Texarkana, Texas to the late Milton R. and Katrina S. (Sykes) Simington. Several years following the premature death of her father, Milton, her mother married James H. Williams, III, who adopted Katrina

.

She attended Henderson State in the early sixties before leaving to care for her young children, Rob and Kitty.

Katrina was very fond of children, all animals (especially dogs and cats), and traveling.

She is predeceased by her daughter Katrina R. “Kitty” Harrington.

A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband Roy G. Brown of Hot Springs; son Robert J. (Catherine) Connell, Jr. of Hot Springs; step-daughter Pam (Tim) Horan of Fairfax, Virginia; grandchildren Ashley (Tony) Costa and Hunter (Taylor) Connell of Hot Springs; Jennifer Horan and Tim (TJ) Horan, Jr. of Fairfax, Virginia; several great-grandchildren all of whom lovingly knew her as “Grammy”; sister Elizabeth R. (Liz) Williams of Little Rock; brother James H. Williams, IV of Hot Springs; dogs Barkley, Marley, and Squirt; and several cats.

Katrina was dearly loved and will be missed.
