Kristin Alexia Pappas

Kristin Pappas, 58, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away in her hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on September 7, peacefully in her sleep.

Kristin was born on December 2, 1967, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Dr. Deno and Gwen Pappas.

She was a 1986 graduate of Hot Springs High School. Kristin was an outgoing, loving woman whose warmth and vibrant personality touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She dedicated much of her professional life to helping others, working as a social worker serving underprivileged children and their parents. Her work reflected the compassion that came naturally to her and her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people who needed support.

She also had a wonderful sense of fashion and a natural flair for making everything around her a little more beautiful. Kristin loved expressing herself through her style, but it was her generous heart and loving spirit that truly made her special.

One of Kristin's greatest joys was her beloved dachshund, Bella, who was a cherished companion and an important part of her life. Her love for Bella reflected the tenderness and affection she brought to the people and animals she cared about.

Kristin is survived by her mother, Gwen Pappas of Hot Springs, and her brother, Peter Pappas, and his husband, John Papapavlos, both of Los Angeles. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kristin leaves behind memories of a loving, spirited, and stylish woman whose presence brought energy and warmth to the lives around her. She will be remembered with love and missed more than words can express.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 228 Spring Street, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71901.
