Lennie Lee Holbrook

Lennie went thru life singing daily with a smile and a positive attitude. She was always there for everyone that was important in her life and she has left a void that will be impossible to fill. We will love and miss her always.

She is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, Joe; sisters, Ova Lybrand, Lois Smith; brothers, Spencer, Roscoe, Thomas and Julius Jr.

Lennie is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Bates (Terry); grandchildren, Megan Robinson (Neil), Cody Bates (Emily), and Hannah Bledsoe (Will); sisters, Cleo Dublin, Bernice Maddox, Joyce Nicholas (Cary); brothers, Bob (Glenna), J.D. (Jean) Lybrand, and brother in law, Donald Smith; great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Colt, Remie Erwin, Harper Robinson, Hannah and Tori Turner, Christian Bates, and Madi Bledsoe; nieces, Barbara Dutton, Connie Pinkerton, Joan Scott, Vicky Goodwin, Sandi Herder, Susan Simmons, Brenda Senseman, Donna Majors, Leah Reid, Michelle Behr and Ann LeCrone; nephews, Gary, Michael, David and Chad Lybrand, Jimmie Dublin, Tommy and Jimmie Maddox, and James Smith; several great-great nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Gross Funeral Home with Bro. Teddy Frye officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
