Linda Carolyn Olive Albritton of Hot Springs passed away April 7, 2025. She was born in Hot Springs on October 29, 1953 to John C. "Pete" and Linnie Waite Olive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul David Allbritton, grandparents John & Nellie Olive, and Grant & Hattie Waite, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Linda is survived by her daughter Stephane Yearby & husband Brad; grandson Cash Yearby; grand daughter Tallulah Yearby; sister Brenda Olive, sister-in-law Becky (Karl) Cunningham; aunt Patsy Olive and special family friend Doug Gullion; and numerous other family and friends.
Linda grew up in Hot Springs and was a member of the Lakeside Class of 1971. She graduated from Henderson State University and taught School for 39 years in Ft. Smith, Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Woodlawn, and Lakeside. She retired from Lakeside in 2015.
Linda loved teaching and greeting everyone, the children and her coworkers, early every morning, LOUDLY!!! She truly embraced being a "morning" person. She was always happy when she heard from one of her former students.
Linda & David loved traveling and made trips all over the country. They also enjoyed concerts, plays, canoeing & experiences with Stephanie & friends. After David passed, she continued adventures with Stephanie & her family, Brenda, and made many road trips with friends.
Linda's favorite times and memories were being "Nanners" to her dear grandson Cash, and later to being "MooMoo" to her granddaughter Tallulah. She was always on the sideline cheering for Cash and his teammates at all his activities.
Linda was such a happy fun loving generous person and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Thursday April 10, 2025, from 5-7pm at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR. Graveside services will be held Friday April 11, 2025, at 10am at Phillipi Cemetery on Hwy 84 near Point Cedar, Arkansas, with Pastor Greg Ferguson officiating.
Pallbearers are; Cash Yearby, Brad Yearby, Steve Yearby, Charles Olive, Robert Waite, and Doug Gullion.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Ligon, and the Southwest Christian Academy football players.
