

Loyd William Klemsz, 89, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away after a short illness on October 9, 2025.
Loyd was born on February 23, 1936, in Utica, Nebraska to the late William A J Klemsz and Maime Nabor Klemsz. He was baptized at home in Utica in 1936 and was confirmed in 1950 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He married Kay Ardis Beckman in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 27, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Loyd enjoyed a successful career in commercial banking in Colorado. He retired from banking in 2000. In addition to his business career, Loyd served on church boards in many different roles including being the President of Faith Lutheran Church in Hot Springs Village. Loyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his family. He always put his faith, family and friends at the forefront of his efforts. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kay, son and daughter in law Brian and Cindy Klemsz, of Battle Ground, WA, their two children Sarah and Matthew (Jenna), son and daughter in law Michael and Abigail Klemsz, Zionsville, IN, their six children Nicholas (Becca), great granddaughter Isabella, Eleanor, Benjamin, Margaret, Lillian and Annabelle, son and daughter in law Scott and Susie Klemsz, their three children Katherine (Adam Locke), Melissa and Christoph. Loyd is also survived by his sister Wilma Powell. Loyd was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Dale.
