MacArthur “Mr. Mickey” Lane, 84, passed away on June 15, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of kindness, hard work, and devotion to family.
Known affectionately by family and friends as “Mr. Mickey,” MacArthur was a man who never met a stranger. He was respected by all who knew him for his kindness, integrity, and genuine concern for others. He was a loving husband, a dependable provider, and a devoted family man whose greatest joy was spending time with those he loved.
MacArthur graduated from Irving High School in Duncan, Oklahoma. He went on to build a successful career in the petroleum industry, working as a petroleum engineer and oil field worker. Throughout his career, he earned numerous safety awards, a reflection of his dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
In his free time, MacArthur enjoyed collecting guns, playing pool, relaxing with his pipe, and spending time in his shop. He especially treasured family gatherings and the moments shared with loved ones. He had a fondness for seafood and particularly enjoyed the summer and fall seasons.
Those who knew MacArthur will remember him as a kind, respectable man who treated everyone with dignity and respect. His steady presence, wisdom, and caring nature touched countless lives.
MacArthur survived by his beloved wife, Linda Lane, whom he married on August 4, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is also survived by his children and grandchildren: Dianne Wyles; John Wyles and wife Michelle; grandson John Taylor Wyles; and granddaughter Madison Wyles.
He is survived by his brothers, Danny Lane and wife Barbara, Buzz Lane and wife Debi, and Bob Lane and wife Linda; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
MacArthur was preceded in death by those loved ones who welcomed him into eternal rest.
Though he will be deeply missed, the love, values, and memories he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
