

Margaret M. “Peg” Kuhnly, 88, of Hot Springs, passed away May 10, 2025. She was born in St. Paul, MN, September 13, 1936.
While attending St. Cloud State, Peg met Arnold “Arnie” Kuhnly, and they married December 27, 1954. Peg and Arnie made their home in Fridley, MN. Peg spent many years driving to and attending the many hockey events of her son and the figuring skating events of her daughter. She worked at Ramsey County Community Human Services for over 20 years before retiring to Hot Springs Village, AR.
During retirement, Peg enjoyed playing bridge and was known for her mastery of knitting. Oh, the beautiful sweaters and afghans she would create! She looked forward to the Kuhnly Annual Jart Tournament in MN each September. She and Arnie loved to travel, especially enjoying European River Cruising. Peg volunteered at the CHI Hospital in Hot Springs for 30 years, including serving as President of the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association.
Peg is proceeded in death by Arnie, her husband of 59 years. She is survived by her son, Craig (LeeAnn Bowes) Kuhnly, of Utah, daughter, Karen (John Parrish) Kuhnly, of Wisconsin, granddaughter, Gabrielle (Michael) Baratta, of Massachusetts, and sister-in-law, Carol Kuhnly, of Minnesota.
The family requests any donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Guardian Angels Cat Rescue of Hot Springs.
A celebration of life and internment will be held at a future date in Minnesota. The family is being served by Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR.
