Margie Lee Davis

Born on March 11, 1937, in East Liverpool, Ohio, Margie was the daughter of Tom and Mildred Miller. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1955.

Margie first married the love of her youth, Bill Pittenger. Together they shared 19 years of marriage and raised three children. She later married her second love, Carol Davis, and together they shared 45 wonderful years, blending their family with three stepdaughters.

Margie had a zest for life and enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, and creating Raggedy Ann dolls. She loved decorating the tables and common areas of the residence where she lived, changing the decorations with each holiday season.

She also enjoyed traveling, swimming in the lake, and, perhaps most of all, shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Davis, and her two sisters, Elaine and Kathy.

Margie is survived by her children, Dirk, Lori, and Linda; her stepdaughters, Cherri, Cindy, and April; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Margie was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though it is hard to say goodbye, for now we will just say, “See you on the other side.”

A Celebration of Margie's Life will be held at Gross Funeral Home on June 29, 2026 at 10 AM.
