He was survived by his daughters Michelle (Josh) Gaston and Melinda Martin-McAfee; grandchildren Darian, Kaitlin, Adrien, Joshua, Zachery, Kirsa, Emma, and Eylan; sisters Nancy Rhodes and Nannette (Bill) Gentry; nieces and nephews.
Mike retired after 33 years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a 1971 graduate of Lakeside High School. Mike loved being with his family and his pet dogs. He was known for his generosity and will be greatly missed by all.
Honorary pallbearers will be current and former United States Postal Employees.
