

Mildred was a loving Wife, Mother, Nana, and Sister. Mildred was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She met the love of her life, Ron Nease, as teenagers at a Midnight Church Singing on Ron’s 16th birthday and the two were married on June 21, 1957 shortly after graduating High School. From this union 3 children were born: Shannon, Scott and DeRhonda. Mildred held many titles throughout her life, some of the ones she was most proud of are: Wife, Mother, Sister, and Nana. She was the proudest of Nana’s and loved all of her grandkids with great joy.
Mildred worked as seamstress and made custom drapery for homes. She also served as a Pastor’s wife which she enjoyed serving at several churches alongside Ron. She enjoyed listening to southern gospel, especially the Gaither Vocal Band.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children and their spouses: Shannon and Roger Biles, Scott and Kissa Nease, and DeRhonda and Chris Dunn; grandchildren: Cameron Biles, Todd (Amy) Biles, Scotti Nease, Raegan (Chris) King, and Kenlee Dunn; two great grandsons: Will and Grayson Biles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ron Nease; her parents, Cleveland and Mary Lou Melugin; sisters: Barbara Harvey and Louise Loy; and brothers: James Melugin and Kenneth Melugin.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Gross Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Biles, Cameron Biles, Todd Biles, Will Biles, Chris King, Chris Dunn and Grant Hunter.
The family would like to thank Mildred’s caregivers for all of their love and care given.
