Pat was born in Little Rock on November 6, 1947 to Marvin and Syble Vaughter. She grew up in the Little Rock area and attended Central High School. She later married and had 2 children that became her reason for living. Pat was a dedicated, loving mother and often worked as many as three jobs at one time to ensure that her kids had everything they needed or wanted. She later met and married the love of her life, Robert Lynam, and they spent their later years traveling and enjoying all that life had to offer.
Pat was the daughter of a Baptist preacher and a devout Christian. Christmas was by far her favorite holiday and she would go all out to ensure that her family especially her children got everything they asked for and then some. She had a very giving nature and often dedicated time to helping others. She couldn’t bear to see anyone suffer and would offer help whenever she could. She loved spending time with family, playing cards with her friends, and watching her grandkids play any and all sports.
She worked as a credit manager at Porter Foods which later became Kraft Foods. She enjoyed playing tennis and later transitioned to pickle ball. She was a gifted artist & interior designer.
She is survived by her son, Todd Lumsden (Robin); daughter Holly Diggs (Chris); brother Marvin Earl Vaughter (Diane); grandchildren Caroline, Luke, Griffin, and Grayson Lumsden, Karli and Brody Fountain; nephew Bryant Vaughter; niece Carey Wise Vaughter; sisters in law Margaret Lauletta (John) and Pam Fleming; step niece Jennifer Lindley; step nephews Michael and Christopher Thompson; special family friend Doreen Lee and her beloved dog Baby Girl (BG).
