

Patricia Petermann, age 91, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away on September 8, 2025. She was a beloved mother, aunt, cousin, and friend whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Born and raised in the Greenwood area, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Albert and Annie Michel. She grew up close with her Aunt Estelle and shared a close bond with her other Aunt Willie and her beloved cousin Barbara, with whom she enjoyed many happy moments growing up in nearby towns. Patricia graduated from Greenwood High School in 1952, embarking on a life filled with love, hard work, and joyful pursuits.
In 1955, she married the love of her life, her husband, and she was a devoted mother to her twin sons, Robert L. Petermann and Michael W. Petermann, who brought her immense pride and happiness.
Patricia dedicated her career to the insurance industry, beginning as a cashier at United Insurance Company of America. Her keen eye for detail and dedication led her to a role in auditing in 1973, a position she held until her retirement in 1982.
Beyond her work, Patricia loved spending time with her family and friends. She fondly enjoyed visiting her cousin's house in Lexington, Kentucky, where she delighted in watching soap operas and dining at various restaurants. She had a passion for craft shows, shopping for hats, and attending the Kentucky Derby.
Patricia also enjoyed going to the movies to see interesting films and shopping trips with her cousin.
A true enthusiast of culinary arts, Patricia loved watching cooking shows on the Food Network and trying out new recipes, often sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. Her zest for life, curiosity, and caring nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends.
Patricia Petermann will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for her zest, her laughter, and her love for life. May she rest in peace.
