Paul "Redbeard"Tanner, 51, of Hot Springs, passed away November 15, 2017. Redbeard was easy to love. He was a teacher and mentor of the Living Canvas Family. Redbeard’s passion for his craft was so influential; everybody knows Redbeard's Famous Living Canvas, as well as, all the fantastic tattoo artists he trained. Redbeard poured passion into everything he did. Some years ago he was "saved" and fell so in love with the teachings of Jesus; he became ordained and started his own church. His congregation was impressive. Redbeard even performed baptisms in the little swimming hole on his property. Redbeard was a well known photographer, an astronomer, an outdoorsman, marksman, blueberry farmer, race car driver (of remote control cars), airplane pilot (of remote control planes), toy collector, comic book collector, dog rescuer, art enthusiast, body piercer, party starter, party thrower, llama farmer, donkey keeper, musician, arcade proprietor, jukebox aficionado, NASCAR fan, antiques dealer, a trail blazer, but most importantly he was a husband to Angi, the father of Andie, and the grandfather of Ollie whom he loved dearly. Redbeard was always determined in his research to be expert in everything he did. His passion was infectious, his influence undeniable. A Celebration of Redbeard’s Life will be announced by his family at a later date.
