

Phyllis Joann Blackman, 84, of Hot Springs, AR, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1941, in Keys, OK, to the late Floyd and Mable Music. She was a beloved mother, friend, and adventurous spirit, who left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Throughout her life, Phyllis was passionate about travel and exploration. She loved to sail away on Caribbean cruises once or twice a year, embracing the beauty and warmth of the sea and sunshine. Her adventurous nature was evident in her drive all the way to Alaska, a journey she cherished dearly. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, finding peace and joy in creating beautiful designs with her needle and thread.
She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, demonstrating her meticulous attention to detail and integrity. Later, she expanded her skills by attending pharmacy tech school, further exemplifying her love for helping others.
Phyllis drew strength from her Christian beliefs until her health no longer permitted her to do so. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith touched everyone around her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and faith. She will be deeply missed but her spirit of exploration and her loving heart will forever remain in our memories.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Blackman, parents, son Patrick Blackman, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
She is survived by her daughter Kelly Fox and husband Tony, sister Maxine Seguin, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved dearly.
