

Ralph Irvin Miller, 91, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 29th, 2014 at his home. He was born January 14th, 1923 in Amboy, Illinois to Harry and Lottie Fields Miller. Ralph was a very loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, woodworking, and music; especially his c-melody saxophone. He was of the Baptist faith. After 36 years, he retired from Central Qualities Industries in Polo, Illinois. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Hiner, Bernice Cassens, and Thula Webster. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 67 years, Charlotte I. Miller; son, Ernie Miller (Joyce) of Apache Junction, Arizona; daughter, Ramona Lee Raymond(Randall) of Hot Springs; stepson, Allen Davis (Linda) of Machesney Park, Illinois; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday October 2nd, 2014 at Morning Star Cemetery with Chaplain Teddy Frye officiating under the direction of Gross Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, Wednesday at Gross Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in his memory to Gentiva Hospice of Hot Springs.
