

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Raymond George “RG” Fleming, 86 of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully at home on October 10th, 2014 surrounded by family. He was born on November 15th, 1927 to Ray and Ethel Fleming. Ray was a devoted husband to Elva “Jean” Fleming for over 66 years, and a wonderful father. Ray was a veteran of the US Navy, having served during World War II. He was known for his sense of humor, and his green thumb of gardening. Ray loved living on Lake Hamilton for many years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and all it had to offer! In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eldest son Jimmy Ray Fleming; sister, Fay Murders; and brother, Jack Fleming. Loving survivors include one son, Billy Jack Fleming; two daughters and sons-in law, Pat and George Stasick of Plano, Texas and Tammie and Doug Bloomer of Prosper, Texas; one sister in-law, Shirley Fleming of Dardanelle; eight grandchildren, John Stasick and his wife Nicole, Shelly Stasick Cambre and her husband Donnie, Tonya Fleming, Nikki Woods and her husband Carl, Tiffany Dickson, Justin Bloomer, Alyson Bloomer, and Reid Bloomer; eight Great-grandchildren, Megan and Colin Stasick, Taylor ,Brandon, and Jake Cambre, Malin and Adam Dickson and Brody Woods; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends that will deeply miss him. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 12th, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 13th, 2014 at Gross Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are George Stasick, Doug Bloomer, John Stasick, Donnie Cambre, Larry Griffith, Eddie Spargo, and John Albert Brock. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the staff of Arkansas Hospice, all his friends and the staff of the Atrium, and all the nurses at CHI St. Vincent 2 West for the love and care given to Ray.
