Rea Elizabeth Dion, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on July 9, 2026. She was born on October 8, 1939, in Irvington, New Jersey.
Rea was preceded in death by her parents, William Eckstein and Renate Elizabeth Howard, her husband Fred Dion, her beloved son, Lee Dion, and daughter, Donna Neeley.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister Renee Kindrick, her children: Robert (Regina) Dion, Dolf Dion, Don Dion, Darlene Clawson (Joe), and Heather Bettis. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly and who will forever cherish her memory.
Rea's love for her family was the center of her life. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
