He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Betty.
He is survived by his brother, Robert and his very special sister-in-law, Sheila; sisters Pamela Ann Cadena and Dian McElvaine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard enjoyed all types of auto racing, from NASCAR to the sprint car racing at the I-30 racetrack. He had been an active member of the local Moose Lodge 1252 for over 38 years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
There will be a private celebration of Richard’s life at a later time.
