

Robert L. Kramer, age 92, veteran of WWII, served in the USAF 7th Bomber Wing and the 17th Bomber Wing, left this world on July 2, 2015. He was born in Williamstowm, Pennsylvania on June 22, 1923. After retiring from the Air Force in 1961, he worked for the Atomic Energy Commission in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and the Nevada Testing Grounds. After his stint in Los Alamos, he worked for the LTV Corporation till his next retirement. He moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas with his daughter, the last 22 years of his life. He loved feeding the birds and caring for cats, was a model train enthusiast, as well as building scale models of airplanes with wingspans of 6-7’, of which he won the World Championship in 1960, just before his retirement from the Air Force. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Reed of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Patricia Kramer, and son Charles Kramer of Grand Prairie, Texas. He had five grandsons; and a sister, Tereasa McDaniel of Colorado Springs, Colorado. His ashes will be taken to Williamstown, Pennsylvania and for military interment at Santa Fe, New Mexico.
