Robert Lee Smith

Robert “Bobo” Smith, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud military veteran, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and memories of those who knew him.

Born in Springfield, Missouri, Robert later made his home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he built a life filled with family, friendships, and many cherished memories. He proudly served his country as a military veteran, carrying with him the values of dedication, strength, and service throughout his life.

Family was an important part of Robert’s life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Smith. He is survived by his two sons, Allen Smith (Wife Marina Smith)and Jason Smith (Wife Sandra Smith)and his two grandchildren Justin and Gabrielle Smith who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Bobo had a special love for horse racing. He enjoyed following the races, the excitement of race day, and the stories and traditions that surrounded the sport. It was one of the many things that brought him joy throughout his life.

Those who knew Bobo will remember him for his love of family, his strength and character, his service to his country, and the memories he created with the people closest to him.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through his sons, grandchildren, family, and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
