Roger Darrel Sorter's January 5, 1950 – September 20, 2026

Roger Darrel Sorter's, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on September 20,2026.

Roger was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He spent 30 years proudly serving with the United States Postal Service before retiring.

Roger enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time outdoors. He loved playing golf and riding horses, and he treasured the time spent doing the things he enjoyed with the people he loved.

He is survived by his four children: Angie Kreulen and her husband, Pieter Kreulen; Jared Sorter's and his wife, Kasey; Jason Sorter's and his wife, Nikki; and Jessica Reed-Schmid and her husband, John Schmid. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with two brothers and three sisters; and close relatives.

Roger will be remembered for the life he shared with his family, the memories he created, and the special place he held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His family will carry those memories with them and cherish them for years to come.
