He received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and practiced law in Hot Springs with his father, Sam L. Anderson, Sr. Later in life he loved to collect antique cars. Sam was larger than life with an even larger heart. He was a doting husband, devoted father, loyal friend, and yellow dog democrat who could not wait to cast his vote for Joe Biden. He enjoyed listening to blues music, sharing cocktails with friends and family, and could often be found hosting pool parties and causing an all-around ruckus. With a booming voice and mischievous smile, you never had to worry about where Sam was or what he was thinking. He loved animals and will be greatly missed by his companions, Maddie Blue and Ella.
He is predeceased by his parents, Sam L. Anderson, Sr. and Jeanne Anderson of Hot Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Kristi Anderson; daughter and partner, Julie Anderson and Rusty Lookadoo; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Kasey Schultz; granddaughter due in November, Avery Marion Schultz; sister, Pamela Anderson (Bud West); mother-in-law, Mary Ellen White; sister-in-law, Kathie White; sister-in-law and husband, Karen and Greg Lewis; niece and nephews, Sydney Lovell, Brad E.
