Sandra Grubbs

Sandy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 20, 1943, and lived with her parents, Raymond and Arietta Steinmetz in Fort Smith, Arkansas until she married Kelton in 1961. After putting Kelton through school at the U of A they moved to Ohio where she supported and advised Kelton, and they were fortunate to adopt Michael in 1967.

After following Kelton's work throughout the southwestern United States, they settled in Hot Springs 1969 where they were blessed with the births of Patrick and Bradley. In addition to caring for her own, she worked as a CASA volunteer for several years caring for other kids in need. Sandy was an avid collector of many things and an artistic quilter who didn't hesitate to share an opinion. She was a dear friend to many and will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 5:00-7:00pm. A graveside service will be held the following day July 1, 2026, at Crestview Cemetery to begin at 10:00am. Guests may register at www.GrossFuneralHome.com.
