Skip was born in Hot Springs on June 4, 1944 and graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 1962.
Skip had a distinguished career in the U.S. Army and returned to Hot Springs upon his retirement.
Preceding him in death was a daughter, Shannon Fendley; a son, Michael Fendley; a brother, Steven Fendley; and a sister, Dililah Willene Jennens. Survivors include his son, Daniel Russell and a brother, R.T. (Leslie) Fendley.
Skip was an avid sports fan, especially boxing and football, and his favorite pastime was fishing on Lake Hamilton.
