Steven Wayne Harvey

Steven Wayne Harvey, 53, of Hot Springs, passed away on April 14, 2016, at his home. Steve was born in Hot Springs to David and Barbara Harvey on January 23, 1963. He went to school at Mountain Pine where he played baseball, basketball, and football. He married his high school sweetheart, Sheila Cross on July 20, 1980 in Montreal, Missouri. Steve worked as an OTR Service Man (best tire man in the country) for Firestone for 20 years and Purcell Tire for 15 years. He was awarded salesman of the year and received the Million Dollar Sales Award multiple times. Steve became an ordained deacon in 2005 and was active in the men’s group and worked with the youth of the church. He was a hard-working man who was passionate about his family and loved life. Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, David Harvey; and his brother, Rick Harvey. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sheila; his daughter, Brandy Beckman (Chris) of Bryant; his son Tyler Harvey (Nicholette) of Hot Springs; his daughter Chelsea Harvey (Aaron) of Hot Springs; his brother Sam Harvey (Bridget) of Hot Springs; his sister Christy Johnson of Bismark; his mom Barbara Thomason (Greg) of Bismark; 5 grandchildren Kailor, Xander, Abel, Tuesday, and Bruce; several nieces, nephews and a multitude of loving friends.
