

Sue Adams, affectionately known as "Susie" to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on 05/28/2026 at the age of 81.
Susie was born on 11/05/1944 in Oilton, OK to Troy and Hilma Hammond. She lived a life centered on family and caring for others. In 1973, she graduated from Baptist Medical Center School of Practical Nursing and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Throughout much of her career, she worked in family practice offices, where she was known for her compassionate care and dedication to her patients. She retired from working at Family Practice Associates in Benton.
Susie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved gardening, ceramics, hunting, fishing, and watching hummingbirds visit her yard. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and sharing her hobbies with those she loved. Family and friends will fondly remember her sweet tooth and her love of Turtles candy, peanut M&M's, and chocolate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Adams, Jr.; her brother, Troy Duane Hammond; and her parents, Troy and Hilma Hammond.
She is survived by her children, Shari Moser and husband Earl of Batesville, Arkansas; Lisa Still and husband Steve of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Tracy Baker and wife Pam of Benton, Arkansas.
Susie leaves behind five grandchildren: Stephanie Patterson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Carmen Holcomb and husband Daniel of Sheridan, Arkansas; Kyle Still and wife Avery of Nashville, Arkansas; Ashlyn Rogers and husband Mick of Lonoke, Arkansas; and Lauren Baker of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.
Known for her caring heart, strong work ethic, and love of family, Susie touched many lives throughout the years. Whether tending her garden, creating ceramics, watching hummingbirds, or spending time with loved ones, she embraced life with warmth and kindness.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
