Sue Lenhard

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Sue Anne Lenhard, 61, of Hot Springs, AR, a passionate outdoorswoman and beloved family member, who left us too soon. She was born on October 14, 1963, to the late William and Shirley Lenhard (Kimmel) from Gagetown, MI.

Sue dedicated her life to the pursuits she loved most. She had an adventurous spirit and her love for the outdoors was evident in everything she did. She especially enjoyed hunting hogs and deer, always eager for the thrill of the chase and enjoyed spending time at her favorite hunting farm in Texas whenever she was able. Her skills in training her Catahoulas and participating in hog baying showcased her dedication and deep bond with her dogs. Whether riding her horses or snapping photos of her four-legged companions, Sue found joy and fulfillment in her outdoor passions.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Boykin; her parents; and her brother, Jon Lenhard. Sue is survived by her daughter, Laura Boykin; her siblings, Tom Lenhard, Tim Lenhard (Denise), Jim Lenhard, Anne Lenhard (Mark Abbe), and Mary Pringle (Bill). She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, who will cherish her memory and the stories they shared.

Sue’s spirit, strength, and love for life touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy will live on through her family, friends, and the countless memories she created in the great outdoors.

Rest in peace, Sue. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
