Anyone who ever met Susan would say she was the most kind and devoted person they had ever met. She was a giver. She cared deeply for people and poured her compassion into them. She served the people in Hot Springs at Somnodiagnositcs for 30 years with her husband Monte. She also had served as a Primary and Sunday School teacher at her church.
Susan was loved by many. Her smile and kindness will never be forgotten.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents; Aunt Jannette Rhodes; Uncle Milam Rhodes; and Grandmother Rachel Thomas.
She is survived by her loving husband Monte Griffin; son Wil Griffin; siblings Edward Hanry, Tommy Hanry, and Cherylynn Hanry; in-laws Don and Linda Griffin and James and Sandy Matheney; she also leaves behind her two cherished fur babies Seve and Bean; and numerous friends.
Pallbearers include Wil Griffin, Richard Griffin, Raygan Griffin, Greg Griffin, Roy Pearson, Ben Pearson, Eli Pearson, and Ric Freeman.

There will be a visitation held at Gross Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm. A funeral ceremony will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2765 Malvern Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71901 to begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 with a graveside service to follow at Crestview Cemetery.
