Teresa C Spurlin

Teresa was born on July 29, 1952, to Jean (nee Carpenter) and JT Lindsey in Fort Campbell, KY. She was the oldest of four siblings and spent her early childhood moving to various Air Force bases with her family until her father’s military retirement settled them in Hot Springs.

Teresa attended Hot Springs High as part of the Class of 1971. She later moved to Oshkosh, WI, and earned an associate's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Teresa lived for nearly 25 years in Wisconsin and worked most of that time in social services for Winnebago County.

In 1999, Teresa returned to Arkansas where she lived until her death. Continuing her drive to work with those in need, she began working at First Step in Hot Springs where she met her husband, Ronnie Spurlin.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents Jean and JT & Lindsey. She is survived by her husband Ronnie of Hot Springs, her children John R (Katie) James, Jr. of Edmond, OK, Robert Spanbauer of Oklahoma City, OK & Nick (Donna) Knight of Milwaukee, WI, her eight grandchildren and three siblings Cindy, Michael, and April. In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to the organization of the donor's choice.
