Terry Glen Ames

Terry Glen Ames, 69, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Terry was born April 17, 1949 in Torrance, California to the late Paul & Hazel (Milam) Ames. He was an aircraft machinist and a member of the Elks Lodge for the past 28 years. Terry grew up in California and graduated from Carson High School. He and his family moved to Arkansas in 1994. He was an avid bowler throughout his life and loved camping with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela Ames; children Lauri Watkins (Chris), Andrew Ames (Joanna Goglio), Jeff Ames (Sheanee) and Stephanie Williams (Jason); grandchildren Kayla Ames, Riley Williams, Peyton Williams, Benjamin Ames Watkins, Adelyne Williams and Braxton Ames; siblings Kenneth Ames, Douglas Ames, Sue Carol Jorsch and Kathy Sison; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service is 3:00 pm Saturday at Prairie Bayou Cemetery, Bismarck, Arkansas, with Bro. Chris Morrison officiating.

Terry was always so nice to me. I remember coming out for Laura's wedding, and both he and his wife treating me like one of their own. He was a kind soul and I'll never forget him. R.I.P. Terry.
